Ryan and his professional team of builders and landscapers did an amazing job renovating our house. We have been living in it now for 6 months and we are completely happy with everything. I had some extensive outdoor renovations completed by Adaptit earlier this year. There was landscaping, terracing and retaining walls, decking, concreting, fencing, pool decking and fencing, a new staircase and a carport. My overall experience was very positive and I would like to give them a positive review.The main reason I employed Adaptit was that I needed landscaping and construction, that these needed to be integrated, and I did not want to do the coordinating of multiple service providers – Adaptit was about the only company I could find who seemed to actually want that sort of business!From the start, the planning phase, which involved 3D computer modelling of the whole job with Ryan and Brian, I felt comfortable with their attention to the detail of the project and frankly their enthusiasm for finding solutions. There were a LOT of solutions to find.The entire project took a few years from start to finish, however would have been faster if not for the many plan revisions my wife and I imposed during that phase. And when construction did begin in the middle of last year, progress hit hurdle after hurdle, many of which were just not foreseeable (like major underground concrete pipes that were not on any site plan, anywhere!), and so the construction time-frame stretched to more than twice that anticipated, but I would stress very little of that delay could be blamed on Adaptit. In fact, at every turn, they went to lengths they were not contractually bound to, to assist me and keep the job going.Work quality was generally high. Onsite workers were at all times friendly, helpful, and accommodating when necessary. There were details I was disappointed with, but for such a complex job I feel it would be unreasonable to expect every detail to be just right. None of those details even warrant a mention here as they would only serve to give the wrong impression.Specific thanks to Ryan, Brian, Matt, Ryan (the other one!), and James.In my experience, Adaptit do a very good job, they do it professionally, and most importantly they believe in doing a good job for their client. I recommend them!

Overall very happy with our modern, versatile and user friendly patio/pool space. Our project definitely would have been a headache to direct and manage a variety of trades on our own but Adaptit made it much easier. As with most builds we had our fair share of issues and problems but generally found Adaptit good at problem solving and willing to fix problems that arose. One downside I would say is I felt they perhaps had a few too many jobs on the go at once, so communication and follow up was at times lacking. Also some jobs felt rushed and jobs were completed before fully thinking through how they'd affect other trades later. Overall though very pleased. Thanks to the entire team

We found Adaptit to be very professional and accommodating from start to finish.Their processes were clearly explained to us and they delivered well within the timeframe.Whilst we were not there during the build, our Mother in law remarked how professional and friendly the onsite builders were. They went beyond their duties to ensure she had an area to hang her clothes which she was very impressed with.The end product is amazing. WE have had a patio done , and the all up cost including council fees are nearly $10,000. The patio is well constructed but LEAKS .They have been back to try and fix it without success. Having now approached the manager his opinion was “ well what more can we do” I suggested he get the engineer who designed it in the first place to check out his work. The manager was very reluctant to go any further . He said he will send out a representative , but his general demeanour was not encouraging. I will keep updatedUPDATE I Have been contacted by Ryan Stolberg , from Adaptit who showed real concerns and is authorising someone to Investigate, We appreciate this as their staff that erected the patio were diligent workers and we were VERY pleased with the outcome, it is just this problem that needs solving An hour later, and Ryan came out and thoroughly checked the patio. He took considerable time and effort to discover source of problem , which is with the original builder, and NOT work by Adaptit.Thank you for spending time to identify problem .

Excellent service and quality

Adaptit added a roof deck to my queenslander during the pandemic. The build went seamlessly - due to their professionalism, expertise and administration proficiency which included managing the council and other planning requirements. They kept me fully informed throughout. The deck looks just like the 3D Cad design and I am extremely happy with it. Based on my experience, I highly recommend them.

We found that dealing with Adaptit was very smooth from the 3-D sketches through to the final inspection. They were especially easy to deal with as they employ their own trades. This saved negotiating with sub-contractors.

I found it easy to work with Adaptit from first contact to contract end. Adaptit took my initial deck ideas and Ryan added his design experience to produce an enhanced detailed plan within my budget limitations.The builders, led by Adrian, did an amazing job. I should have built the deck earlier! Great work Adaptit.

Got a roof installed and 9 months later in a medium rain pour, the roof leaked back into the eaves of the house causing damage. Got in touch and was told someone would come to inspect and never did.Touched base 12 months later when I got an electrician to hook up the lights they’d provided with the roof, didn’t work. Was told someone would get in touch and never did.Now, soon after that in a heavy downpour the roof is leaking between the panels, out of the backside of the gutters and back into the eaves. I will be getting in touch with fair trade as I’ve heard nothing from Adaptit.

What a great company. From start to finish they were great. The 3D design was fantastic to see and was a true representation of what was built. Josh and the team were polite and professional and efficient. Our new patio looks awesome. Thank you for a great job. Will definitely recommend and use again if we ever need another patio.

If the initial design on the 3d plan didn't look impressive enough, the end result exceeded all expectations.Our new pergola roof has transformed a useless outdoor area in to a functional dining/entertaining area, perfect for our Queensland climate.Seriously impressed with the end result of Adaptit Groups construction.

I used Adaptit to build 2 patios which costed a lot of money and boy do I regret that decision. If you’re a customer looking for a good job to be done by a reputable company, please, please stay away from these guys. It was bad advice from the start. I would never recommend these guys for a job if my life depended on it. 2 big massive thumbs down.

We engaged Adaptit to build a large indoor/outdoor room extension at the rear of our house. We had been looking for the right project manager/builder for many years and we decided to proceed after a visit and discussion with Ryan from Adaptit.Adaptit were great to work with and the process was seamless - from concept to completion. The 3D concept plans developed by Ryan enabled us to visualise the end result and to play with different options.Each and every tradesperson that we had on site was excellent – skilled, efficient, respectful, and able to problem solve as the project went along. Chris in the office was also fantastic to deal with it and kept everything on track.As fussy clients, we made changes as the build was happening and Adaptit was always willing to come up with practical and viable options and new ideas. The build quality is unquestionable and the attention to detail commendable.The end result is better than we imagined. We truly have a lifestyle extension, something that flows from the inside to the outside and embraces the Queensland weather and all it throws at us. The extension/room is extremely well insulated, has excellent airflow, and enhances the existing home design. The room offers something for the whole family, from the kitchen/BBQ design, to the bar zone, to the relaxing lounge area.Adaptit considered every member of the family – even the dog – with a porthole door installed in one of the external sliding doors.Thank you Adaptit. We are extremely happy with the end result and we fully recommend Adaptit to anybody looking to add a structure to their home to take full advantage of the Queensland lifestyle.
